The Competition
OIA is conducting painting competition for Indian students in Qatar. This opportunity is in line with OIA’s goal of providing platform for Indian’s residing in Qatar to develop and enhance social skills and spread its core values among communities. The competition is conducted under three student categories.
- Class 1 to Class 3
- Class 4 to Class 6
- Class 7 to Class 10
Eligibility
All Indian students residing in Qatar and fall in respective categories of classes they are studying are eligible to content in this competition.
Drawing Requirements
- Subject: “One India – Unity in Diversity”
- Media allowed includes: Any color painting medium. A4 size. No other media will be allowed.
- Do not write anything on the painting. On the back side of the painting, write only registration number.
- You are required to submit the painting to any of the locations below.
- Only one painting per participant is allowed.
How to participate
- Register using online form given below.
- Register number will be emailed to you upon filling the online form given below.
- Participant must submit the painting and filled registration form along with Student ID Card, Copy of Qatar ID
- You will be notified by email, about the approval of participation after verification of the drawing content and details provided.
- OIA reserves the right to reject or include the painting in the competition.

Evaluation
Three Member (3) Judging Panel – 80 Marks
Public Voting through OIA Website – 20 Marks
Paintings of approved participants will be published on our website for the public to vote. Each participant will be provided with a link to their respective painting to promote it. Participants shall share the link through social media for voting.
Submission start date: November 3, 2019
Last Date of submission: November 30, 2019
Participants and recommended to submit their painting early, so that they can start campaign for the public voting
Voting start date: November 10, 2019
Voting end date: December 03, 2019

Winners & Prizes
Participants will be invited for the prize distribution ceremony during OIA Annual Meet which is to be held on 5th December 2019, 5 PM @ Ashoka Hall, Indian Cultural Center, Doha – Qatar. Winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be announced and presented by eminent chief guest of the program. Other participants can collect the participation certificate from the help desk on the same day.
- 1st Prize: Gift Voucher worth QAR 200 + Trophy + OIA Certificate of Appreciation
- 2nd Prize: Gift Voucher worth QAR 100 + Trophy + OIA Certificate of Appreciation
- 3rd Prize: Gift Voucher worth QAR 50 + Medal + OIA Certificate of Appreciation
